Comments This yeast was re-identified as Cryptococcus gattii based on the DNA sequence comparison.

Morphology After one week at 25°C colonies are white to cream-colored with a smooth mucoid texture, cells are globose or ovoidal, 3-5µm.  Later a sediment is formed.
